BCS has the Longhorns at number 1 after that win over Tech. But just barely, only 7 points ahead of USC, any sloppy play by either team in the next few weeks could cause one or the other to fall behind...

Once again....BCS sticks it right in the Pac-10's ass. I guess we will never shake the fact that the Pac-10 is just as good as all the Eastern Confrences.

Although I agree that USC should be #1, I do not think the Pac-10 is as good as all the Eastern Conferences. But as far as USC being jumped by UTx, this happens every year just about. Give it a couple more weeks and even if the Longhorns win their games and the Trojans win, USC will re-claim the #1 spot. The reason UTx jumped them is b/c of the teams they played this past week. UTx played a ranked Tech team, and USC played a bottom of the barrell Washington team. It won't stay this way for long. Just another reason to talk shit about the BCS....something needs to be done...again...

Texas has been blowing out people all year.. usc has had maybe 2 close games.. but otherwise.. I wouldn't worry about the BCS until its all and sudden done.. If the title game is USC vs Texas who cares who goes in at #1.
