I got it, but haven't tried it yet. There is a lot of other options out there at the moment, CoD2 and F.E.A.R. comes to mind.....but I will get there sooner or later.

What makes this so much better than Doom 3? A lot of people talked trash about that game. Personally, I thought it was great... so what's the story here?

Doom 3 was eye candy however it was too long and repeditive. Basically all the imps jumping outta walls and the black environment got old after a while and the game just dragged on.

Quake 4 has the same amount of eye candy... the atmosphere was maintained just as well. However the main advantage of Q4 is that it didnt get boring as it was constant action and very linear in the way you had to go. And yea did I mention that I love spamming?

I have it on my xbox 360 but unlike most people here i am not a fan. Well it is better than doom (which doesnt say much) the single player game was awful. It was incredible how soon i got bored with it. Also the multiplayer isnt as good as quake 2, which i think probably needs to be done in the sequels.

It was OK. Sure didn't take very long for me to send it back to GameFly though. The part where you are on the Strogg assembly line was the best.

decent single player game.

Great Great Great xbox live game - the quake death matches are still the best around.

Major down side - whos bright idea was it to remove the offline multiplayer death matches?? I used to love getting a few of my freinds around my tv and having a mash up on quake 2... why remove such a great feature???
