Well you never said to click the link and sign up for a newsletter to get a free prize.

Take it how you want, but rules are rules. This might be your first day, but in the past couple years of being on this forum from my experience anyone who starts there first day posting a "hot deal" is typically trying to advertise there site, do something that is a referral system for themselves, or posts spam.

A hot deal is a site giving a free limited time offer, or an extremely big discount or clearance item or anything else.

I guess with that mindset, I could post a thread in here saying..

FREE SHIRT AND HAT!!!

and link sport illustrated's website because that's what they give you when you PURCHASE a subscription.
