Ok they fixed some bugs. Made some things better. But what is with Wake Island? They couldn't come up with a better map? totally looks like they just ported the Wake Island map from BF 1942. And added a couple little things, And borded up the houses/cabins.
What a joke... I am dissapointed in this "New" Map.

Wake island is a brilliant map strategically. Seriously you cannot beat that map.

It is so versitle it incorporates many different playing styles. After wake island i was forced to rethink my strat of bf2 and its comming up great. I unlocked the sniper (m95) and its very winsome. Otherwise Its a fast paced map with many sniping points - so you really must get to know the map well before you do anything.

Thats what I am bitching about. It's a good map. But With all the problems with BF2 allready they got lazy and just ported an old map. Not a new original map wioth the update. If I wanted to play Wake Island I would play Desert Combat. Or BF1942. If they ported Urban Siege i would be much happier with that.

But like I'm sure its with every game - everyone wants the classics with better graphics. To top some of the good old maps is very very hard so I believe they wanted to just play it safe. The mod community are really the only ones that will kick along the map making and lets hope they make us a few beauties :D

wake island is an amazing map in my opinion. its onee of my favorites. i wasnt good at flying until wake island came out. then i started flying (suicided alot lol) but now im pretty good at flying and i find the map fun to play on.

at the beginning when bf2 came out I was suiciding all over the place. The best was full blackhawk crash... OOPS.

But now I can do hot insertions with a full blackhawk as well as hot evacs... by my fav is still the black hawk flybys with my mini gunners roaring :D

When my clan is on Mashtur city we hop in the Blackhawk and rape the noobs.
(I do not like the word "Noob" Because we were all one once. But feel it works here.)
