How Can I Remove Winfixer 2005

This installed itself from an ad on Webrats and is messing up my computer and is spyware - why do webrats allow this garbage?

Use Spybot s&d and remove the winfixer. Without starting ur system new, run Spybot s&d again and clear the remaining files. (IF existing) 4: Good tip 4 future: Create 4 ur XP a 2nd account without any adminrights. Nothing can install itself there. You cannot even erease a file, but 4 surfing its enough..
