Codecs and Divix?

click on one of our sponsors! OR REMOVE ADS
I was wondering if anyone can help me with some codecs and Divix stuff.
I have certain Video files that do not play video, Or play at all.
I am wondering if anyone knows where I can get some codecs, Or a divix player.
I currently use Winamp pro as a default media player.
I have DL'd a defiler pack file. but some recent codecs and divix stuff doesn't work. I DL"d a newer version of defiler pack and it actually messed up my PC.
Thanks!

XP codec pack - the only download you will ever need. Google it - its very easy to find.

And what's wrong with the official divx codec, pray tell?

Besides that it's free?

The xp codec pack is free mate - and has virtually all the codecs he will ever need - saving him needing to have an app to play say ogg etc.

Yea anyways sorry about the crack comment if you took offense to it.
