hi all i'm realy realy new to this site but i have a big question...
me and my girlfriend have had sex several times but i've never came inside of her. i'm away at college now and i come down every few weeks. 500 miles... but its fine. now to the problem. she's one week late on her period. we've taken 3 pregnancy tests... the first one was positive but the other two were negative. so i dunno whats going on! can anyone please give me advice i realy need some help! btw we did not use a condom and i dont want to hear about it...

of course she could be pregnant, there's sperm in precum and every guy has precum so pulling out is *not* a good method of birth control. since the last two were both negative though, it's possible she got a false positive on the first test. she needs to see a doctor to be sure either way.

You say one week late but how regular is she normally? if she is not like old faithful then you may need to give it another ten days to re test. The blood test for hcg is WAY more sensitive. Chameleon Girl is right "failing to plan is planning to fail".

Sometimes a pregnancy test will yield false results if you take it at the wrong time. I don't remember exactly when but you're supposed to take it somewhere around now I believe. There's also tests that claim is doesn't matter when.

Pulling out can get her pregnant, definately, but it's not 100% that she is. The doctor can have a look inside but will tell you that you have to wait 2 weeks after her expected cycle before he can see anything - at least you'll know for sure then.

Pulling out is not a gurantee. 1 week late isn't really a big deal. Her emotions and stuff can all trigger to her period coming late. Heck you guys worrying so much might be the main reason to her coming late.

Just wait patiently, and pray.

As soon as the egg startet to nist, the female body starts to produce the pregnancyhormon HCG, (Humanes Choriongonadotropin).
That is the hormon a pregnancytest is looking for.
There is as far as I know for the most such test no 100% guarantee.

When you did a 2nd and 3rd with an other result as the first, you should not only wait and pray, you should realy go to a doc.
Why to pray when you can get a professional aid?! Its not about any thing like a storm where you can hide with closed eyes in the cellar and pray for it going by.

My friend, you are the man and the one who puts the d*** in her. Two big reasons which make you responsible for her. You are the man, so you have to take her to doc to be sure! What will you two do, if it will be a child?! Feel ready for it? If you are not big earning, have a big apartement,
you are not!
Go there my friend, don't wait. If doc says its negative, you can hug each other and be happy.

But you will see that it will not have been the last time in your life you will have such a situation with a girlfriend, I can guarantee you that. So I would dare to say that a week is not a big deal and also wait. :happycow:

Pregnancy tests should be done first thing in the morning from my understanding been through a few such situations, the doctors will do the same test anyways until a couple weeks in if it is a positive. IF your girlfriend had a regular cycle where she knew exactly when she got her period then it is quite possible, but other things like stress can also delay a period and usually these situations only cause more stress. Do a test first thing in the morning and go from there

Im tempted to say that a 2:1 against ratio with something as accurate as pregnancy tests means you got a false positive. It's definately possible that stress is causing a delay in her period. But since there's doubt, try going to a doctor to find out for sure.

oh and... condoms...and/or birth control

I think you're probably cool. She can be late just from worrying, and I'm assuming she's not on birth control (which regulates her cycle).
False positives are common with pregnancy tests, especially if you buy them at the dollar store (no, really. They sell them for a dollar).

You're probably cool, but remember this craziness you're feeling and either get your girl on the pill or start using condoms. But given that you already know you should be using condoms, I don't think some dude on a forum will convince you. So try for the pill, and help her pay for it.

yea we are done with the whole not using condoms thing. now i just gotta find somthing that fits me well. her period did start, and we are going to take another test once i come back down. i tried getting some help in another thread about the entire condom issue but people wont help. either they make fun of me or tell me i'm lying :( if u guys would be more understanding that would roxor later all and i ask that one of the admins could delete this thread so i can just close this topic up thx!

We don't delete threads unless necessary (i.e. naked pics of an ex and the ex wanted them taken down). Just let this die a natural death if you want.
