Any good movies lately?
So who's seen a good/great movie you would want others to see? I'm curious as to what the webrats crowd likes as far as movies. Any kind of movie, no specific genres.
Thanks,
nate

Re: Any good movies lately?
I saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith last week with my girlfriend. I thought it was pretty good. A lot of unexpected comedy, they seemed to piece it together rather well.
I thought the new Bad News Bears sucked though. The original was a million times better.

Just saw The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Thought it was well done, especially for fans of Law & Order, considering most of the movie is set in court.
The Constant Gardener was also very well done. Well written, and actually had an intriguing storyline.

Re: Any good movies lately?
Yeah, I've seen Romper Stomper. Good movie. Mr. Hoss, you really like The Dukes of Hazzard? I can't tell if it's sarcasm. I'd like to see Wedding Crashers, but I don't know if it's still out. Heard good things about Constant Gardner. Oh, if you folks haven't seen the 40 year old Virgin... don't wait. U must c it! HI-;arious. Thanks for the recommendations everybody.

There's a multi disc special edition of Romper Stomper. Great film
Check out Mike Leigh's "Naked". David Thewels is fucking amazing. Definitely not a light watch by ANY means. Pretty heady, dark and somewhat depressing. But still probably in my personal top 10.
A new Criterion version was finally released of Naked last week. I got a film school geek boner the second I saw it finally being released to DVD (it's from 1993 and was previously only available on VHS).
