The squeeze technique, seen in a lot of self-help books: When the moment arises and you feel close to orgasm, pull out of her and take your forefinger and thumb and squeeze or pinch the head of your penis (thumb on top of head, forefinger on the "frenulum"). This squeezes blood out of the head of your penis and lowers arousal somewhat, allowing you to continue for quite some time thereafter. Repeat as necessary and eventually you will be able to control your arousal. And, as others have said lots of sex on a regular basis (3+ times a week) will make you last longer.

I have gotten to the point where I can go for 30 min to roughly an hour before I come and it's all done by mental control. There's also a point where your penis becomes a little desensitized but can still remain erect of course. This is an extended plateau phase that I am really talking about. To reach orgasm, I'd have to actually concentrate on it and many time my g/f would be saying "can you come?" and generally express the desire for me to hurry up. Then about that time I would increase my thrusting or repositon my hips to targer her g-spot and make her come just to spite her. I love that stuff!

Alright along these lines, I am rediculously easily aroused. I wouldn't exactly call that a bad thing, but when the slightest physical contact starts, I can already start to feel myself building up.

Well, you can have total "ejaculatory control" which means you orgasm/ejaculate when you want (I've heard it said a man can have an orgasm w/out ejaculating but supposedly Sting is the only male on earth who can do that). Anyway, you can lose this skill too and then you're back to square one until you can build yourself back up. It's not just due to inexperience unless you've fallen out of the "habit" of sex which means you'll have to "re-experience" yourself and get some like three times a week or more--hey three times a day is good. As you've found out, masturbation feels nothing like intercourse with a live breathing vagina. I suggest more of the real thing and hopefully your g/f will comply. Resist the tendency to pound her like a jack hammer as fast as possible and just slow down, pull out when you feel you're on the brink and use the squeeze technique (i.e. pinch your dick).
