You are absolutely on the money CG........the human vagina is essentially self cleaning.....although frequent doses of water =/- soap doesn't go astray.......and rather like any area of the body the local flora and fauna usually remain in balance. Infections like Chlamydia and yeast infections like Candida albicans (thrush) etc will change the odour dramatically.

The diet effect is a whole lot more subtle and usually doesn't cause a lot of strife.

Untreated veneral diseases can also lead to worse such as pelvic inflammatory disease and problems like endometriosus and telling her some hpow rather than avoiding the issue may save her a whole lot of grief healthwise even if your relationship doesn't fire.

People are happy to eat all sorts of stuff.....blue cheese, over ripe fruit, yoghurt etc which while accepted ultimately all come from infections of one type or another but we tend to be a bit precious when it's our landing gear involved.

But seriously, if you pop 2 or 3 breathmints both inside a girls vagina and suck on two or three in your mouth it kind of helps the taste and smell.. but it would just be covering the real problem. and yeah I agree that she might have something a little more serious going on down there.

Dude she probably had thrush, I've had the unfortunate experience of being with two chicks who have had thrush and it's not a nice odour. That's right on the money. Oh well, too late posting now you've already dumped the smelly b1tch It's a really bad smell isnt it - keep in mind, your probably lucky you didnt f*** her without protection, guys can get it too you know it just doesnt show up as bad on men - fortunately for me I was careful...:P

This is something that happens with a lot of girls. It helps if they shower every day, but really it is not there fault. The vagina is an organ that is constantly lubricated and because of that sometimes the faucet leaks a little. Pair that up with the fact that most girls wear very constricting and tight underwear that moisture that is down there gets trapped and starts to ferment. It is the same idea as when you have serious ball sweat and your underwear is all crammed up by your balls. That smell is going to be trapped and get stronger. My best suggestion for you would be to kindly offer the suggestion that she was herself before anything happens. You could tell her that it really turns you on when she uses a particular soap down there because it makes her smell seriously sexy, or something like that.

Fishy smell could be any of the things listed above, or it could be the sign of anaerobic vaginosis, which is most simply a bacterial imbalance. If this is the case, antibiotics should clear it up. It could also be an early sign of an STD. If careful hygiene, etc. doesn't clear it up, you might want to consider a doctor. Assuming, of course, that the smell is different from your other partners, albeit a little stronger.
