Re: Opinions on new Setup?

Sounds decent to me, although I might look into a videocard that didn't mostly use your mainboard ram.

(the saphire only has 32mb onboard ram, the rest it just "borrows" from system memory)

Scratch that, then, had the wrong model # (the one I was looking at was $15-20 cheaper)

Re: Opinions on new Setup?

If you have the money, get a better graphics card and also a bigger sized HD since you have all that speed. But overall its fine

Re: Opinions on new Setup?

What is your budget?
Exactly which Toshiba DVD Burner? Because I know of a NEC DVD+/-RW DL burner that is about $40

This 6200TC32-bit 128MB will run right with a x300 in many benchmarks and save you about $15.
You didn't mention gaming so the memory interface shouldn't be that much of a factor for what you did say it was going to be used for.

Nothing against the case you picked out but you can get one with a big PSU, window, and all of the front ports that one has for a good bit less and still look pretty good

Re: Opinions on new Setup?

I allready have the burner, and i have an brandnew 80gig that i am using as my secondary right now. The 6200 ou posted would be nice, but it only has 16 mb of onboard memory.

Can you post some links to better cases, that was the one thing i was unsure about.
