NFL power rankings.

Any surprises?

I think the Packers are rated about 10 spots lower than they should be. While they may not be the best team in the north, I still wouldn't consider them the 24th best team in the league.

Re: NFL power rankings.

I think it's pretty accurate. Except for the Vikings, wih all of the defensive help they got this offseaseon, you'd think they would be rated higher than 11th. I would definitely put them over the Jets.

Yeah but they didn't add anyone for offense.. So their d will step up. they offense will lack. This year will prove what culpepper is made of.

Re: NFL power rankings.

I thought that the addition of Troy Williamson more than made up for the loss of Moss, but they probably won't have Birk under center, and that could hurt them.

I think they state good reason why everyone is they are. Including the Cheese Heads.
No way you get to 14 if Farvel goes down. Green is getting old and slow.
At least my Bronco's have a chance to go 10-6 again this year!!

Yeah Denver will be good.. They got the best wide receiver EVER,( im ordering the jersey one of these days),

and I agree.. if Favre goes down, i dont see that happening, but if he does, its going to be a rebuilding year thats for sure.

Favre is in the best shape of his life and hes looking awesome against the first teams so far this preseason.

Re: NFL power rankings.

While I think Denver's (Or should I say Clevelands :eddie defense will be good, I still think Plummer doesn't have what it takes. Granted with guys like Smith, Lelie and a guy named Jerry Rice, along with Jeb at TE, they should be a unstoppable passing threat. However, Jake the Snake likes throwing INT's just about as much as T.D.'s. That will hurt.

But as I said, their defense should do okay even though the AFC West is all offense this year.

So, good luck JRH.....better hope Jake doesn't get picked like a nostril week after week.

One more thing....Buffalo at 5???!! Are you serious? Losman isn't Big Ben (Although I think Roth isn't as good as people think he is) and the team around him is decent, but not great.

I think its a blessing in disguise. Ryan Moats (although small) is going to be a really good back. Now, as a rookie he will get some more playing time under Brian Westbrook and Dorsey Levens.

OMG.

Such a relief to see McNabb and T.O. taking care of business. 256 yards and 3 TD's in one half.

I love it.

Eh, Dolphins... 30th.

Sounds about right, unfortunately. Hopefully Williams comes back with a vengeance and the defense stays strong.
