how many of you guys shave? and if so, how much? what's the best method of getting the closest shave without irritation? and....how come you see guys in porn movies with hairless balls?

I'm not wild about the completely hairless look. The general rule is the shorter the bush, the taller the tree. You can probably shave your scrotum with a disposable razor and shaving cream without any irriation other than a nick or two. Don't bother shaving above. Just trim it back with sciccors or a shaver with a guard.

i would not use a razor you might get razor burn and that sux i use a beard trimmer and/or a electric shaver but you cant get it as close as you do with a razor but yo dont have to worry about irritation

just trim up above with a scissors. Use a regular disposable razor or a "mach 3" if you have one. Just be careful and don't push too hard and you shouldn't get razor burn. Also shave with the grain first....and then go against the grain if you want it closer.

I trim it, right above the penis and my scrotum. Take a hot bath first, it helps to open the pores, and other than that just go really slowly with a disposable. If you want a neat line, use a moustache trimmer above the penis.

I have done my scrotum. Trim with scissors and then I use a blade in the shower with the same shaving cream I use on my chin. As for on top, just close with scissors is good.

Yikes is all I can say to that. I like to just get the whole area with the ol' home haircut kit (#2 works nice), then landscape all the edges with the mach3. Seems to work just fine.

I find that personaly after shave'n the bits that a good non alchohol base shave'n lotion works wonders for the irriation issue on the boys. And a good beard/mustache trimmer is great for the above area. For those of you who like to get creative a fine line trimmer is a great way to add designs or personal effects to said above area.

What do you think about micro trimmers? I want to landscape the hedges for the gf but kinda reluctant to cause i have used a beard trimmer before and gotten nicks and that..... and what is the word on waxing or things like nair

waxing is way painful....and nair can cause irritation/rash/painful swelling... best to stay well away from that one..

Waxing = painful. And men are such wusses with their privates Nair = not if you have sensitive skin, and if you leave it on for too long it stings for days. Ugh.

the conclusion I get from this is that I can shave the scrotum with an electric razor/beard trimmer and then just cut above with scissors as close as I can get? (or use the beard trimmer on that too...)
