Re: NBA predictions 2006

Update on the predictions:

Lakers still look to be in the playoffs.
The Cavs are in the playoffs.
LeBron DID win all-star MVP.
Shaq has battled injuries again.
Bogut has turned out to be less than I expected ( I thought he'd average a double double)

But my greatest prediction was my main rookie, Chris Paul. I predicted 16ppg, 7asst, 2stl -pretty ballsy of a prediction for a first year player with not so much hype. But look at him, he's already the best player on the team. 16.5ppg, 8asst, 5rbs, and 2.4stl. Definite rookie of the year.

Nice job on the predictions.Pretty spot on,Pciking Lebron for All star MVP was just awesome, it could have been anyone. But I still don't understand your predicion of Tyron Prince going to the Clippers.Allthough I am sure it's Tayshuan Prince, but how did you come up with this one.Did you thought he will be traded for Maggette?

you're right, it is tayshaun Prince. I just felt he was too overrated at the beginning of the year.well, he's okay. I figured Darko Milicic had a chance of going to the Clippers. I also figured the clippers to be under .500 this year. O well. Kobe takes the Lakers to 5 games with the Suns.

Well I had reason: he's atheletic, good shooter, good penetrator, good rebounder, and very good defender and he is on a team that was supposed to give him more looks but Arenas exploded. If injuries didn't slow him down he would have been more consistent and his number would be up. he has career highs in ppg, rpgs, and all 3 shooting percentages. it wasn't "waaaaaaayyyyyyy off".

I agree that given the minutes he would be able to post career highs in virtually all of his stastical category BUT that applies for anyone within the NBA.Also, he is a SF who sometimes plays as a SG and those positions are packed with players who ARE genuine allstars.Washington is in the Eastern conference and when guys like Paul Pierce and even Gilbert Arenas doesn't make it in the Allstar games, Butler has no chance.Besides the point is you should be a good player and not just post good stats to be an allstar and as talented he is,he's not just an allstar........for the moment.

Re: NBA predictions 2006

I must say I didn't see that coming from the Lakers especially from Bryant, the way he's been playing in the playoffs is absolutely great and shows what he and the team can accomplish if they follow the traingle.Just hope Kobe doesn't revert to his old self when the going gets tough in round 2.
