Also, the government never pays anyone more then they are worth, unless they are Politicians.

NBA players have to have skills. Damn good skills. The have to be big. They have to be able to run and jump. They have to be able to shoot very well. They have to be able to hit free throws. They have to travel a lot. they have to practice and play at odd hours an over holidays.

jbarnes, don't accuse me of being sour because he's not a laker anymore. I've learned to cope with it quite well already. (although i think his statue still hangs in universal citywalk...) I don't hate shaq, but the reality of it all is that he's in the twilight of his career. How many more injuries can he sustain? I don't think anyone has been as injury prone as him. as for Kobe vs. Shaq... i don't know, why don't we ask everyone here? Who's going to win rings in the next 5 years?

BTW-- Lakers in the playoffs definitely this year.

I don't like what they get paid. Don't get me wrong I am an avid sports fan, but that doesn't make me believe that they should be getting paid a $100 million dollars to play a fuckin game.
