New Apple iBook G4 Specs

I'm thinking about buying a Mac laptop (I'm currently PC, but I'm interested in extending my knowledge). I can get the 14" iBook (stock, except for DVD/CD-RW instead of DVD-RW, and added 3-year warranty) for $1300.

Anybody got any PC laptops that can beat these specs, for approximately that price?

Or any other suggestions about Macs?

Thanks a ton!

Btw: already checked HP and Dell, HP has an interesting competitor.

whatever spec you look at, no laptop will look as cool as a powerbook
