It's always possible for a condom to break. But if they are put on correctly, the chance goes down quite a bit. Most of the time, the people I know that have had a break all made the same mistake, they didn't squeeze the tip while putting it on and had an air bubble there. As far as not using one, that is up to you, but unless you are completely sure of where the other person has been, not a wise choice to go without.

The only time I have ever had a condom break was the first time I had sex. While that would sound like bad luck, I am pretty sure it was due to the fact that I had carried it around for so damn long in the hopes that I would get laid, that it just got too old and broke when it finally got put to use.

Condoms are man made products so there is always a chance that it will break. However, this is no excuse to not use one. Unless you are trying to catch something or trying to have a baby there is no reason to not use one. If you keep breaking them then maybe you should buy bigger condoms. When i first started having sex i broke a few condoms because they were too small. I now wear Trojan Magnum condoms and i havent had any problem. Just dont be stupid....always wrap it up.

You must put each one through rigorous testing before use.

Pull it, stretch it, blow it up, stick pins in it (durability test, and will definitely reduce the risk of "popping"), try it on an aroused pet, apply it to your car's exhaust pipe and floor it up and down the street for at least four to five laps, then slap it on and feel at ease that you have yourself one well constructed condom.
