In a rare surgery, doctors in India have removed an undeveloped fetus from the stomach of a one-year-old boy.

The boy's father brought him to the hospital after a huge swelling in his stomach developed.

When he went into surgery, doctors were surprised to find a four-month-old fetus in the boy's stomach.

Doctors say the boy's condition appeared to be an "inclusion twin."

It's an extremely rare condition when two fetuses are conceived as a conjoined twin in the uterus of the mother and one enters the other during the pregnancy.

Doctor's say the boy is in good condition following the operation.
