Just curious how much sex is normal for a young married couple? I want it like 12 times a week at least and if it were up to my 26 year old wife it would be once a month. I'm frustrated as hell.

What do you guys figure is the norm????

Good luck man. If you want it that many times a week, you have to do things daily to make her want it as much. Treat her like a princess and you'll be ok... treat her like a godess and you'll both be on cloud 9.

When my wife and I first got married. We probably did it like twice a day for the first month. Then we started to slow down and now be do it probably twice a week. We have been married for three years now.

um...mabey you should think more about..HER than the sex..i mean 12 times a week..that just seems SICK to me, you should be doing it when you feel like the "time is right"....not to tell your friends "oh yeah we do it a lot"...you should love your wife first..have sex (not to be confused with GET sex) when its time

I have yet to be married so I really can't tell you what is the normal amount of sex to have but plenty of other members here I found to be shacked up with a girl so they should be able to help you out with that.



You have 3 kids and your a young couple, could you elaborate more on your situation.

It all depends on what is going on in your life. Some months, my wife and I have sex 3-4 times a week. Other months, we might have sex once a week. It all depends on what is going on in our lives.

That's true, because if your both working all the time then obviously hanky panky will be much less than usual.

I recommend if you can't have sex as frequently as you desire at least make each time special and as good as possible. Go for quality rather than quantity.

Well, there is nothing called "normal" frequency...to each it own.......

I have been married for nearly 10 years now...initial two years it was like once every day (with may be twice a day on weekends) but later tapered down to twice over weekends now...... but yeah, most of the times we males want much more than they females.....

Well, let's see you want 12 per week, she wants 1 per month. Obviously you both have different sex drives. What you could do is, I know this sounds unromantic, negotiate with her for somewhere in the middle. Me and my wife did this at the beginning of our marriage since I wanted it every day and twice on saturday, and she wanted 2 a week. We basically agreed to 4 times per week at that time. She didn't feel like she was being pressured, and I knew just because we didn't one day, didn't mean we would not the next. Now that we have both been married for 8 years, she's more relaxed, she was a little uptight about sex in the beginning, and wants it about 3-4 times per week, and I am fine with that. I know others might disagree with how we solved it, but for US it worked. You might want to give it a try.

Of course, some of the other things suggest would be good as well. The main point being to connect and talk with your wife.

Situation is this!

I'm 25 she's 26, and we've been married for 5yrs. We have 3 cute little boys who are 5, 3, and 2. I work and she stays at home (I'm not saying that that's not work.) I'm not whining that I don't get enough and I know 12 times a week is a lot.

All I'm really looking for I guess is (from a woman's perspective mostly) what is the average frequency????

I'm all about the quality and I treat my wife really well.

We are a VERY busy couple when it comes to life. There's always something on the go.

What's wrong with wanting it a dozen times a week? It's not like he's trying to force it on her. Not a thing wrong with desire.




I've never been married and apparently have a high sex drive for a woman so I wouldn't be of any help to you phatbusa. Personally, I'd be a helluva lot closer to your number than hers.

Lol, it's always the girl who gets to dictate as the guys are normally quite easy.

Try and get her to initiate it more often, chances are she is feeling like sex is all you want from her when you're alone in bed. Tell her she's beautiful, how nice her breasts look, but dont touch her. Woman get all hot from emotions where men can be purely physical. Make her want you, and soon she will be the one demanding it 5 times a day

However some people are just not compatible and dont like sex at all. It's something that one needs to find out in the relationship before big commitments like marriage and then see if it can be overcome or if it's time for someone else. In a relationship one has to be selfish and put your needs first. Why upset yourself by settling with 2nd or 3rd best?
