What do yall think? I think the graphics are alot better. Seems they did more with the shading. The game play is better and more realistic. The Heisman option and the recruiting are cool if you like that kind of thing.

Thoughts?

Re: Ncaa 2006

The new in-season recruiting is the shit....Dynasty mode is what makes that game. The Race for the Heisman is a good feature as well, and overall the game is great. They improved the receiving a lot, but it still needs to be tweaked to be as good as NCAA 2004. That game still has the best receiving of the series. (as the NCAA fans know, 2005 was horrible.)

I agee with that. Also the CPU is better at passing. MSU (Miss State) hung over 400 yards of passing on me and defense is usally what I'm best at.

Re: Ncaa 2006

I agree, they have improved it in just about every area. The graphics still aren't quite Madden quality (clipping problems and such), but they are much nicer than last years. Race for the Heisman is a nice option for those who don't like getting so in depth with the Dynasty mode. I think it's more for those "arcade-y" type players. It's still a lot of fun though.

And in-season recruiting saves you SOOOOO many headaches. Two thumbs up on that one.

I think the impact players need some tweaking though. Having impact players in the secondary really don't seem to help much, as pretty much all the impact players do is break tackles or force fumbles. Nice addition, but needs a little balancing.

All in all, I'd highly reccomend it. I loved the previous iterations, and this one blows them out of the water.

I agree 100% with you on that one. And it also seems as if the Impact LBs are unstoppable no matter how good your OL is.

Re: Ncaa 2006

My FS is a impact player and he doesn't do squat. Might as well be on the bench. And you're right about the LB's, you can't stop them and barley have time to throw the ball if your lucky.

I have a really good secondary and have a hard time getting in and breaking up pass plays. Also, you can hang up trying to catch someone form behind.

The game is stil far and beyond better than the previous. It will just take a few times to work out the bugs on the impact players.

Who do you use bozak? I mainly use Fla. St. and Colorado. Both of their defenses are good, but both have problems in the secondary.

Re: Ncaa 2006

I use LSU because I can't make myself use anyone else since I'm from Baton Rouge. My FS is LaRon Landry (Impact player) and rarely makes any plays. If the wide out gets behind you, you can hang up catching him. I get a few picks here and there with my corners but get burned deep a couple times a game.
