ok is it right or wrong to hookup with your brother-in-laws sister? now we are both 20 but is it bad to have done that? now i did it for maybe 5 mins then i told her i didnt think it was right and i stopped...she kept on trying and when i rejected her every time she got very upset with me.....we were both drunk but i still feel like an ass for doing it....him and all his friends saw through the window and busted my balls for it...but i still feel like maybe i shouldnt have done it...what do you all think?

Well, your free to do what you want, but honestly.. I would stay away from it. Your walking thin ice on creating tension within close members of your family. Secondly, I'm not sure on the relation it would be, but I'm pretty sure thats classified as a cousin and a pregnancy would be considered distant-inbreeding.

I might be completely wrong, however, thats how I feel.

Then again, the family might actually try to hook the two of you up if you seem like a good match.

Well, if the guy never became your brother in law and you two just met then it be all good but as your are considered related by law its a little sketchy at best.

Because just think about this, say you two get together again and one thing leads into another and you get serious. Then you wanna marry, that would mean you be marrying your sister in a way you know.

And that is why there is a slight taboo there as that is what it could end up to be. Because you be your kids uncle and father at the same time by law.

Now if you only plan on hitting it and so on and not getting too serious then its all good as its not actual incest.

Do what you want, just hope if you do decided on doing her it don't get serious and become like I said due to the slight taboo.

You might want to check the laws of the state you live in since they can be different. I know in Washington state that marriage to your sister in law is not illegal, since, int he eyes of the state, it would be no diffent than when your sister married her brother as far as how the families are connected.

If you're worried about upsetting folk speak to Bro-in Law and check he's cool with the situation.

She is only a relative in name not in blood and I'm sure there are plenty of people here that wouldn't think twice about dating their brothers girlfriends sister.

Where's the problem? I know twins who married another set of twins and I've heard of siblings marrying other sets of siblings, so I'm pretty sure that there's no issues from a third party POV. The only issue (as HJ said) is creating problems with your family. I'd say, if you're both SOBER and want to get it on, that's fine, but if you're drunk then you (or she) might regret it which could make family gatherings uncomfortable, etc.

There is nothing the slightest bit incestuous in having sex with an in-law. There is no blood relation and I'm pretty sure there are no laws against. If there are they are some ridiculous, obscure laws.

As far as the rest of it, just depends on the family dynamics. It could work out great or could create a lot of tension. Too bad you got caught and have to deal with that during the festivities.....ugggh! I would agree with the suggestion that you both be sober if you decide to go for it again.

Alot people I see don't see what the problem is and there really is no apparent problem but if you look at the big picture like I showed then there could be.

Because what if you two do get serious and have kids, then your son will be your nephew and your daughter your niece. And though there is no incest exactly close-minded people will still looks down on that. I am not one of them but I can see all views and right now I am looking at this from there point of view to best help you out.

But like I said, if your just in it for the booty call then its all good but you will probably be hassled like you so far have been for doing her. And if she is worth the hassling as she is mmm good then hey go for it and if you get serious and can handle close-minded people then go for that too.

Or you could always have a relationship that no one knows about by making it all secret which will in turn alleviate the hassling probably but in the long run cause internal tensions in the relationship but if its all about a booty call such things won't exist but if it gets more serious then such problems will exist.

The only person that is family to him is his 'brother in law'. His brother in law's sister... isn't related to cowboy at all.

True but by him becoming his brother in law that guys sister and entire family to a certain degree becomes his family.

Making her his sister which is why if he has a kid with her they could be considered his niece/nephew.

Its not direct incest which is a good thing but like I said some people may put them down and look down on them.

Like do you remember that MTV show Undressed (I think that is what is was called) where a guy and girl loved each other and were dating but because there parents married it made them sister and brother so they were told to stop seeing each other so they had to see each other in secret.
