HR Derby Tonight...Who Ya Got?
Okay...little different this year. They are having eight players represent their respected Nations for this one.
Those eight players will include Hee-Seop Choi of the Los Angeles Dodgers, who was added Friday to complete the field, representing Korea. He joins Philadelphia's Bobby Abreu (Venezuela), Pittsburgh's Jason Bay (Canada), Atlanta's Andruw Jones (the Netherlands), Milwaukee's Carlos Lee (Panama), Boston's David Ortiz (Dominican Republic), Detroit's Ivan Rodriguez (Puerto Rico) and Texas' Mark Teixeira (United States).
I'm going with Teixeira. The man has a sweet swing and it seems he hits a HR in every at bat he has. Runner up is going to be Carlos Lee.

I think Ortiz will win, followed by Jones.

Re: HR Derby Tonight...Who Ya Got?
By the way....If you go to mlb.com you can enter a contest. Pick the winners, in order, and have a chance at tickets for next years game.
I did it and it only took about 5 mins.

Re: HR Derby Tonight...Who Ya Got?
I just want to say that what Abreu did in the first round yesterday was friggin impressive. Also about the new setup with a rep from each country, its friggin dumb....let the best home run hitters battle it out, not every country needs to be represented with a player. I watch to see bombs getting dropped, not a cultural diversity parade.

Re: HR Derby Tonight...Who Ya Got?
big deal.. home run derby's are way overrated these days..
with shallow outfields, juiced up players and corked bats.
