Some girls just naturally aren't as tight as others... so don't automatically think she's been with a lot of others. Ok it seems to me all this is just first time jitters with her as from what you said you were really excited and what not to be with her. And though you been with a good amount of girls from what I can tell being with a girl that just blows your mind like this girl must for you is like having sex for the first time as well as the first time jitters that goes along with it.

I was in a situation like this a long time ago. The girl who took my virginity was my age but much more experienced than I was. I thought I was in love, she just sex.

Try not to jump to conclusions too quickly. If you have "been out of the game" for a while, you can easily read too much into it. If you both really like hanging out, invest a little more time in it and see where it goes. As early in the relationship as this is, her text message could have been her way to move to give you permission to move ot the next step. And the slight cooling could always mean that she is experiencing some of the same doubts. Give it a little more time, have fun, and let things go where they want to. If it turns out that it is emotional for you, and purely physical for her, then you can make the call on how you want to proceed.
