I downloaded a movie (.avi) and I ant get video, only audio. I dloaded the winmedia 9, and the newest divx (that was free without adware).

And still nothing! :headwall:

Divx wont even open it and winmedia and real player I only get audio. :fuckingpissed:

I needed some codec called XVID - got BSplayer and installed another program and it works! :thumbsup:

I got BSplayer and also downloaded ffdshow (general purpose DivX/XviD decoding filter) and installed that in into its own folder and only left the checked codec's to be installed.

But since it went into its own directory im not sure if it helped.

I read on a google group not to add any of the unchecked codecs so i didnt.

BSplayer seems to be a cool player..
