What is required to be happy. At 44 yrs of age and much thought on the subject I propose to answer that question and would like some input from others. I will not touch on the spiritual side due to the fact that this is an open forum and many here will not acknowledge anything spiritual or religious. However, I don't believe anyone can be truly happy until the spiritual dimension is satisfied.

1. A good relationship (wife, family, friends).

2. A good pillow ( go ahead and laugh, but it is true).

3. A good job ( not perfect but tolerable and pays the bills).

4. A clean conscience.

5. A dependable ride.

That is pretty much my list for happiness. What do you say?

i agree with all the above, but i have to be able to enjoy myself. i have to have fun, i don't care what it is that im doing, but i have to be able to have fun.

and also i need pets and stuff.

and then i also have to be able to have the time to do the thigns i enjoy.

and i completly agree with the pillow. i really like mine
