Best Poker Freerolls?

click on one of our sponsors! OR REMOVE ADS
Here is the deal with most poker sites and freerolls (what is a freeroll? see here), the newer the site the better the freeroll frequency and payouts. They do this to drive up traffic, once a site gets big and has self-sustaining traffic they tend to start cutting back on the number and payouts of freerolls...

Olympic Sportsbook's new poker room, Poker World is basically giving away free money right now to increase players in its very low trafficked real money rooms. They have new player freerolls that pay the top 15 spots... in all 6 i was entered in the most entrants was 30 ppl.. with most having between 15 - 18 ppl. Also they have $750 doled out in two daily freerolls with entrants around 120 when i first joined and up around 250 ppl per freeroll now. Its also cool that u can do a direct transfer of ur poker winnings into the sportsbook with no rollover requirement.

World Poker Exchange is more of the same... low traffic, nice payouts and direct transfers to the sportsbook side of the house.

For the highest paying freerolls you have the Prima Network group of sites, they just up'd their 11 AM freeroll payout from $100 dollars to $1500 and their 2PM freeroll from $500 to $2500. The only problem with these is you will have upwards of 3,000 ppl in each freeroll while at the other sites you have between 200 to 500 ppl.

Oh yeah... and dont forget JetSet Poker if u love freerolls. Despite recently cutting all prize pools in half, they still have more freerolls with decent payouts and strong promotions then anyone.... max entrants is 500 with around 16 freerolls a day.

Lastly if u want free $20 to play with, sign-up at Pacific Poker ... dont play ur account for a week and u should get an email saying there is a free 20 bucks in ur account with no deposit required. Not a freeroll but free money nonetheless.

sykoraven... any true freeroll you can play without risk... the problem with pokerroom.com freerolls is they require u to play real money games to "unlock" any of ur winnings in freerolls. kinda weak.

All the poker rooms i listed in my original post are free to enter with no risk to u and u dont have to "unlock" ur winnings.

Re: Best Poker Freerolls?

Ok so I sign up for the site play a few freerolls and make about 8.00 I take 5.00 and enter a 5.50 buy in tourney. Payout was to be disclosed when registration ended. Turns out my 5.00 gets me a payout in there Tourney Bucks. WTF!!!!!!
The payout is nice tho there where less then 40 players and they paidout top 20. So I go out 8th and make 60 tourney bucks. I can buyin to any of there tourneys with tourney bucks so I think OK no big deal.
I tried to sit in 5 dif SNG's $20.00 $50.00 and a $50.00 heads up. No one ever joins the tables. OK no big deal there a new site I understand I'll just enter this $500.00 Garenteed MTT. Turns out theres like 8 people total that sign up.
I get a invite to sit at my table just liek I did for the freerolls I click yes it loads the table and then I get a you waited to long you can sit in this tourney error contact a host.Well thats just fucked I figure fuck it I got 3 min before this tourney starts maybe I'll get a host and get in I click floor person button. I get a floor person explain the above issue and I get chat disconnected by host. I click contact floor person again another disconnection dont even get to identify myself. Click flor person a 3rd time Talk to a dif floor person this time Explain the issue she apolgizes says ther tech are working on the situation and they will handle it.
Time passes and the Tourney starts. Im talking in the chat and it seems Im not the only person this happened too. So Im watching the tourney and getting more and more pissed.
Had I been able to sit and the other guy I had a 1/8 shot at 250.00 1/7 at 150.00 and a 1/6 shot at 100.00. Theres only 1 guy at the table I'm not positive I can beat. I exxplain my displeasure to the floor person and she apoligizes and I get disconnected again.
Click floorperson again text as follows

Re: Best Poker Freerolls?

Sorry to hear about that Mo... similar things have happened to me at other sites over the months and the thing with a poker room's customer service is they are all located in foreign countries so its kind of hit and miss whether u get a decent english-speaking customer rep on the other end and Poker World being new has quite a few kinks left to work out.

Let me know how things turn out and if u want me to get involved on your behalf as I have a pre-existing relationship with them.

What u say Bob is true about Pacific Poker , they offer no-rake requirement freerolls with excellent payouts... the only drawback being they usually only have 1 a day if any. That trick to get $20 free with no deposit (sign-up for account, but dont play any hands for about 1 week) should still be in effect so try it out if you signup there.
