Re: What is the bible to you?
The Bible has been debated for centuries. The problem with discounting it is that it was written over a period of 4000 years, and prophecies made in the early part of that time period came true in exacting detail over and over again. This lends incredible credence to it's truth.

Re: What is the bible to you?
Well belive what you want to belive, becuase there will always be people who belive in the Bible and some that don't. I find the Bible to just be a book of inspiration for me, and just something to fall back on. And for some people thats good enough to make it truth, and God's word.
But some people strive on facts, proven facts. And without that they don't belive anything. So I guess what i'm trying to say here is that the Bible is a book of hope. Hope that there is a better life after death, and hope that one day Jesus will take the belivers away to the "better place"
So you can belive it or not, but whats it worth to you to think before you act just to have a little assurance that "maybe there is something better if I die". Maybe it is true and you will be saved, but if you don't take a little time out of your life, youll never know.
Just another of my .02 on this topic.

Re: What is the bible to you?
I'm just wondering if anyone has read or even opened one before passing any judgments. And if people have read the Bible, how much have you read? How much have you studied?
