6 years. Still love my ex but I've been hitting it with her and other chicks since the break up which was New Years Eve last year. Don't really know if that's "over the pain" or not. Took me two weeks to get a BJ and a month to start having sex.

7 years....started dating when we were 15 and broke up at 22 when I found out she had been fucking around on me for an entire year. I'm now 30 and I still "haven't gotten over it". Basically every woman I've dated since then, even my wife right now, has borne the brunt of that failed relationship because I hold back and don't give all of myself. I keep myself "unattached" from them just in case it happens again. Don't get me wrong, I love my wife, but not the way I would have before this happened. This is gonna sound bad, but if my wife were to cheat or have an affair, it would'nt bother me at all. I would just file for divorce and go on about my life taking care of my daughter. My daughter is really the only girl that I have been able to "unconditionally" love since that relationship. Not really sure if I ever will be able to give myself completely to another woman. Maybe that's why my marriage sux! LOL

2 years on and off (mostly on)... it's been a year and it still bugs me a bit. My current girl is awesome though so I don't think about the ex often. I am definately less inclined to let myself get hurt again though and I am being alot more carefil with the way I feel.
