Re: in or out
We cant pull out of Iraq, Becuase if we do, it will turn into another big dictatorship and then there will be more and more hated towards us from them. But if we stay in and try to setup a democracy and make these people civilized then we are going to be there for alot longer of a time and it will turn into another Vietnam (if it hasent already).
I say pull out, Nuke the fuck outta them, steal thier oil, lower my fucking gas price. 2.04 FUCK YOU OPEC!!! ( i know its higher in other places but for people being used to 1.20 - 1.30 gas its bullshit)

Take Iran, take Syria, then turn the whole region from Syria to Afghanistan into the USME (United States Of The Middle East) and make them all subjects to our colonial domination.
If they don't like it, tell 'em all to EAT A BOWL OF FUCK and turn the whole thing into a radioactive sheet of glass!!

Re: in or out
If we pull out, everything that our military worked for over there is for nothing. We have to see this through, as a nation and as a society.
You may not have agreed with going in. I didn't, but thats just tough. We went, and we obliterated the nation that was Iraq. We have to help the people of the former Iraq create a new, stable government, or this will just be yet another thing we've managed to fuck up just because our President/government is too weak-willed, and out public is too short sighted.
If Iraq turns into a prosperous nation, we will generate goodwill, in general, but if it fails, and falls back into oppression, who won't hate us? We started this war, officially, even if we didn't really CAUSE it.

Re: in or out
I'm really mixed on goign in or out of Iraq. By staying in, we are sending a strong message to Osama and the world we will stand resolute no matter the cost, but by pulling out we will actually look good b/c everyone thinks this is an occupation we have and not a liberation. You see, back in the 80s when they ahd the embassy bombing in Beirut where 200 marines died and America pulled out of Lebanon shortly after that, Osama bin Laden realized something. He called America a "paper tiger" that was strong on paper, but when American troops started to die, we woudl pull out immediatly (a direct result fo the Vietnam syndrome, b/c we do NOT wanna repeat another Veitnam war and I sure as hell dont' either) and so he felt that America CAN BE DEFEATED and thus he set out for that goal. however, contrary to what the FRIGGIN' press says, many Iraqis see us as as liberators from saddams regime rather than oppressors, and things are already gettin better, or so I hope (If someone can contradict or back me up on that, please do) However, here is one thing about Guerilla warfare that I pray to god our generals have learned by now: to win a guerilla war, the side that wins is the side that has the popular support. no matter what. WW2: the Frnech Resistance was successful b/c the general population supported it, also, marilyn's mauraders in south east asia were succesfful against Japan (even though theyere were white and stood out like a sore thumb) b/c they had the support of the Chinese people...Vietnam we didn't and thats why we lost, b/c the people supported the Viet Cong against us. So the point is, we have to win the hearts and minds of Iraq and I applaud bush (for once) for not ordering an all out attack on Falluja, very wise move (unlike LBJ, Bush seems to listen to his military advisors.) We need to keep civilian casualuties and battles in cities to a minimum, even if it means a few more U.S. casualties, b/c once the ppl see we are there to help them and not kill them, they will help us get rid of the insurgents.

I couldn't have put it better myself. To me, that seems exactly why we are staying there, and rightfully so. If we were to pull out now it may come off as exactly what was said, as soon as America starts to take casualties we will withdraw. By staying there we are showing that we will be there regardless of what happens until our goals and objectives are reached.

But in this case we didn't elect the president, the supreme court did.

Re: in or out
Tell em to eat a bowl of FUCK or we turn it into a radioactive sheet of glass? Wow... such a glaring display of ignorance. Even if they deserved to be wiped out, nuclear warfare is probably the worst possible outcome of Iraq. A nuclear holocaust would most likely kill us too if we do what you suggest.
However, it doesn't matter, because they don't deserve to be wiped out. It's their country. Let them deal with their country how they want to. That's my opinion, at least. I was against invading Iraq, but now that we're there, we gotta finish it. I actually agreed with what Bush said today. I'm glad that he's finally showing the public that he has an exit plan. Although, I highly doubt it will completed per the schedule he outlined, it's good to see that he's listened to criticism. Too bad he can't pronounce any of the cities correctly, heh.
