Eh, I don't worry about that kinda thing. I just pay. The girl I'm with usually offers, but when she doesn't it's no big deal sicne I intended to in the first place. i guess the clincher for me is whether or not they say thank you. I'm not sure how cool I'd be with a girl who didn't even thank me for taking her out.

Gotta get a thank you, if you just dropped 60 bucks taking her out for a night. I would assume thats common courtesy, tho, since ive always been thanked afterwards.

dude 60 bucks is cheap compared to most dates ive been on. most of my dates are around $100 to $200. i never expect a girl to pay for anything i figure if i need her to pay then i shouldnt have gone out in the first place. yes she does at least need to say thank you in one way or another. just this saturday i took a girl out to movies and dinner and it cost $175 so 60 isnt much to me.

I ALWAYS pay on the first date... and sometimes even if i'm just going out with a girl who is a really good friend. When someone i'm on a date with asks to pay, i don't let them, graciously of course.

However, one time this girl I was really in to took me out, she just told me to meet her at her house, then she took me to a movie, ice cream, and then up into the foothills of the mountains of my city with a view of the whole thing. It's absolutely awesome when a girl does somethin like that for you unexpectedly.
