That's another I've been wanting to see....but the wife doesn't care for those movies....she's a Brad Pitt fan so going to see Troy is top on her list.

yeah, it doesnt really live up to the trailer but a good movie nevertheless...
although, its sorta an entertainement movie if you know what i mean... no message, or intricate plot, or twist or whatever.... action

I thought it was a really good movie. Coulda used about another 15-20 minutes at the beginning to set up the characters a little more. Still a great movie though.

From what some friends are telling me it is definately a guys movie. Women are pretty much going to it for Brad. But overall it is a hack'em and slash'em movie.
That sound about right for those of you whom have seen it?

Troy is a great movie. It helps if you have read the Iiliad and Odyessy, and a little Greek history to understand the names, but the movie rocks.

I saw Troy the first night and the only complaint i have is that Brad Pitt is too afeminate to play the legendary warrior achilles. Other than that I thought it was a great movie and I hope they make a sequal of The Odessey.
