Anybody know of any good racing games for PC? I used to be addicted to rallysport challenge, but that's over now. I tried out demos of colin mcrae rally 4 and toca championship....both were pretty sweet. I can't decide which one to get. Any other good ones I'm missing?

i haven't played it for pc, but alot of ppl like the need for speed series. there's also midnight club.

Need for Speed underground for the PC is decent, kinda hard to get the controls right, buuut... on the PC you can get unlimited N20 so you can reach ungodly speeds of 500+mph.

the other Need for Speed games are awesome.

However, the best racing games are for consoles, like Gran Turismo, and its ilk.

BTW, anyone know when GT4 comes out?

Test Drive isnt too bad on the PC.
Need For Speed is the only other driving game i've played on a PC.

Need For Speed Underground and BurnOut 2 are VERY good racing games.

burnout 2 is awesome! i love the part of the game where you try to cause as much damage as possible in an intersection. lol

If you are into more realistic racing games, the new GTR demo is really good. It's crazy how realistic it is, that game really kicks my ass!

You can always get a game called "Live for Speed" the graphics are so-so
but if you like to drive realisticly then its a good game.

If You Like Realistic then Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed (NFS:PU). they used all the actuall data on the porsches (Tire size, dimensions, gear ratios, the works).
you can also play in the chronicle mode where you start out with the very first porsches ever made and work your way up to the most modern ones when the game came out.

i have never been able to race well on the pc. i much prefer a ps controler . . . my pc does not like external input devices other than keyboard and mouse :(

id go with need for speed and burnout 2. in a while though there is a game coming out called juiced which looks really good. all the cars are fully customisable and u can play online.
