Influential Console Games?
Which game(s) do you think have influenced the industry. I for one have to say that The Legend of Zelda and Metroid have to be near the top of the list....

Super Mario Brothers was the most popular game for Nintendo for the longest time.
Gran Turismo has to be up there too. It set the standard by which race games are made today.

don't forget about mortal kombat. it really jumpstarted the whole fighting game craze. And if I had to pick, I'd pick MK on SNES over Sega, just because the graphics seemed sharper.
