Boxers, of course. Good for the lady to borrow, besides any other obvious benefits. Girls can look good in any style, depends more on the girl to decide which type is best.

Definitely boxers for myself
If the girl's in good shape, nothing beats a good old-fashioned thong. If she's large, that might no be the best idea.
Also, I'm personally not a fan of frilly or lacey things, maybe I'm weird though, since a lot of guys here like that

On a girl, anything besides cotton, or granny panties. There is nothing worse than a hot girl in a nice outfit with old lady underwear lines. I've actually not dated a girl because of this. Maybe thats a little much but I can't stand it!!!
