Is anybody out there as sick of the overblown ego monster that is Shaq?

Sick of the hype? Sick of the endorsements? Sick of the "most dominant" crap?

Shaq plays in an era devoid of dominant big men. In another era, Shaq would have been good. Better than Russell or Wilt The Stilt? No way. Moses Malone or Bob Lanier would have put a butt on Shaq and moved him around like a chess piece.

If Shaq was half as good as he thinks he is, or half as good as he proclaims, he'd be playing in the Shaq Center because he'd be bigger than the game. You want the real test of whether Shaq's legit? Send him to a crap team and see if he can pull them up to a higher level and lead them to the championship. Not in this lifetime!

I don't think there's one half-intelligent person out there that will tell you Shaq is good.

The boy has zero skills. He cannot..I repeat..CANNOT shoot the ball. He's a bull in a china closet that gets away with a ton of fouls.

I'm actually shocked that there aren't more 6'10+ 330lb guys playing in the NBA because with the complete lack of skill that Shaq has, almost any huge guy could play in the NBA.

Ever wonder why Yao can shoot the ball and Shaq can't? You think Yao's hands aren't just as big as Shaq's?

Now Shaq versus Wilt would have been interesting, but Shaq versus Russell would be no contest. Shaq would cream him. Chamberlain usually beat the pants off of Russell, but Russell's teammates made up for it. Shaq and Malone, another interesting matchup, but he would have bested Lanier. People like Shaq cause people to sit up and take notice of basketball. No matter what you think of him and what he says, he helps the game. and you may see your wish granted sooner than you think. Kobe could be gone and Shaq will then lead a crappy team.

I don't think Shaq's as good as he claims to be. He was dominant 2 years ago, but he hasn't played on a high level in such a long time....Even Yao Ming outplays him when they go head to head...

Maybe he hasn't played good in some (looong) time, but a real fan like me do believe in him and the lakers when it goes bad also..!! and i also believe that kobe is the best in the team right now, shag hasn't showed much recently..!
