OK so the powerball is fucking huge say you win it.
Do you take the lump sum of 107.3 or take the whole shebang 205 milllion works out to aboubt 10 million a year for the next 20 years b4 taxes.

Normally I would take the lump sum but shit 100 mil is alot to piss away just b/c I want my money now.

Couple things to factor into you decision
Payments are non transferable so if you die sometime in the next 20 years the money doesnt get paid to anyone else

They keep that money for 20 years and draw interest off of it you dont get any of that.

So you just hit the powerball this is your first decesion what you gonna do?

Take that shit, spend a good 30 million on house, cars, girls,etc...Take a few million as a backup/allshithashithefan/igotrobbed/myaccountanttookitall/ and put it in a seperate account that I won't touch. Then invest the rest.

Take the money and run. Forget that prolonged payment crap. If you invested every penny and got only a 7 percent return, you'd bring in over $7 million a year in interest. That's $140 million over the 20 year payout period. You're ahead of the game.

F the annuity. The TVM (Time Value of Money) rule states that a dollar today is worth more than a dollar tomorrow. Take the lump sum and invest that shit.
