Since I am 27 I have lived through the rough years. I mean the 80s just sucked. But the 90s have brought honor back to the most historic and winnign franchise in all of sports. This year the AL champs will win it all. The AL champs are going to be a repeat champion. This years World Series Champion will be none other than your New York Yankees. Now if we can only figure out what is going on in Jose Contreras' head, we wouldn't even have any questions.. SHould just end the season now and have a computer finish it out. Give the Yanks the trophies, the rings and pretend that they are really playing. That would be no good actually... Then I would be going to any games... YANKEES IN 2004!!!

This is a good question. I am not following it at all, but I can't see the Yankees winning it, their pitching took a big hit. Maybe Boston or Houston?

I know someone who got something like 100-1 odds on the Angels to win it all in 2002, and bet $1000.

I am not accusing you of lying. I just said that I find it very hard to believe. Why would anyone have bet $1000 on the Angels that year? Either your friend has money to burn, or he knew something nobody else did. If you say it's true, I'll believe you. :happycow:

Usually when people run the BS flag, they say you a fabricating something. So, thanks for your reply. Seems anyone picking the Marlins last year would have made pretty good money too. Wonder what those odds were?
