As long as you say it with complete confidence like your being serious.. it'll take a minute for what you said to click in their head, and usually the reaction is good.

BEFORE you do this, scope out the carriage. Make sure its not stuff for more than one person, no diapers, or other stuff that hints a boyfriend or kids. Have fun!
