Shaved is definitely preferable, but the worst thing ever is when she has that stubble down under- about three days after she shaves. Bald is perfect but there is definitely that akward phase after.

a 1" - 1 1/2" wide landing strip is nice. i also like the V shape trim. my lady keeps her's well trimmed. maybe if you trim your's for your girl she'll be a little more agreeable. yeah it's a bitch to trim the dangly bits but my lady makes it worth the trouble for me.

Offer to do it for her. Lots of fun, but a bit nerve wracking as you certainly don't want to cut anything while your down there.

I like variety, sometimes shaved, sometimes just trimmed. Also fun to trim it into shapes, a hear, an arrow, etc. If you're with the same girl for a while, it's a nice way to mix it up.

Maybe for you hairy chicks out there, you can braid designs in there.. Hmm, I am reminded of NBA star Latrell Sprewell. He has that weird corn-row style. Maybe different directions and stuff. Hmm, what about Anthony Mason? He used to shave designs in his head! Granted there isn't as much surface area on the cooch region but at least you are efforting and getting artistic... Maybe just a simple arrow works. Not like anyone needs to know what direction to go in. 1 way street! But just a thought...
