AFI owns. Old stuff, new stuff, its all good. Anyone who pretends to not like the new stuff because it's too clean is being a pretentious shit. Someone on this board once compare them to the Ataris. I laughed so hard I fell down. The Ataris are pop garbage, whereas AFI is evolving goth punk. Just because something is clean and has good song writing doesn't mean it's not punk. In fact, I'd say their newest album is their best album.

Have you listened to it? The new album is brilliant. Its their best album. Better songwriting, cleaner playing, more difficult and precise vocals. What's shit about that? You gonna tell me Bad Religion is shit because they have a clean, precise sound? If you can say that and not laugh, you're an idiot.

i think most people who say this are jumping into the bandwagon
