not the one i am thinking of...i think this is pretty much still a local band, they have a couple of self-funded cds out (i guess they may have to change their name at some point...i bet there are a lot of bands with this name).

sweet, my bad...i researched a little on the iron horse i am thinking of and what i have found says they are from n. carolina...they were at our local wal-mart the other day, that's why i thought they were from around my area

they are a BLUEGRASS band. they are pretty darn good, too. the cd i have is just a straight bluegrass cd. they do have two pretty unusual cds that i have been meaning to buy. they have a cd called "Black and Bluegrass: A Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne". They also have a cd called "Fade to Bluegrass: Bluegrass Tribute to Metallica". You can listen to some clips of the Metallica cd here:

IRON HORSE - FADE TO BLUEGRASS

It is strange to listen to at first, but they are pretty talented musicians.

obviously, you will need to chop off the ".mpeg"...
