comments have been made about people downloading music and not supporting the artists - not true. at least not in my case. in fact - i just bought the norah jones cd after i found out about her from speechlessques. i download, listen, and if i like the music of the artist (not just one song that gets played on the radio) THEN i buy the cd. i think that this is fair. win me over, and ill pay you. its just like anything else. i wont pay for a bad haircut, a lousy meal, or shoddy mechanic work either. yay for capitalism.

i have a hard time padding the pockets of an industry that seams hell bent on supressing consumers and civil rights. espicaly when only a small fraction of that money goes to the artists.
