ok so im looking for a new computer and i dont know wether to pick amd or intel - i run a lot of video and music - and i play a few games - can someone gimme a recommendation? also i saw one i liked but it was a brand i adnt heard of - wintergreen... are they a good brand?

actualy, for what you want, an axtlon xp on an nForce2 mobo would suite for fine for cheep. basicaly a souped up xbox

I'm running an Gigabye board with XP 1800+ Athlon overclocked to 1.94 Ghz 1 gig mem Gforce 2 64MB Redhat 8.0/Win XP (yes, I dual boot, suck as it does, I need windows to program sat cards) Dual monitors, runs like a champ.

i could assemble a computer just fine - but i dont think i know enough about teh parts to order them to build a system. like for example i wouldnt know how to order a mboard and case that fit. its been too long since ive done it. back in the celleron 700mhz days...

under 700? DAMN... I would think the 2 processors (not trying to be a smart ass) would be like 100 bucks each. Aren't the 7500 Radions like 200 bucks? I dunno, I'm not real into video.

kinda depends, most of the time it does nothing for you, yeah great you can view both processors cooking, but most apps don't support it.
