lol, AMD nothin, thats just a lot of proceses waiting in the process queue at any time. i.e. stuff WAITING to do some thing and in the mean time, doing nothing. a load of 1 is deal, 3 a bit high and 12 being heavy, time for new hardware.

eddie, what the hell are you talking about? silicon is silicon. and thats just process queue... that isnt actualy shwing tha load on the CPU, just what the kernel's scheduler is up to, that dosent relate to CPU load.

i guarantee if he looks at his cpu loads its at 100 and silicon is not silicon
amd constant high load you melt shit
pentium keeps on going
thats why everyone runs pentiums
and well some motorola
this is not a good debate

how is any thing going to melt with a heat sink and fan on it?
i have AMD systems, 1U systems with dualies and reduant fans. they have been varified not to fail from heet, industry tests, same shit intel has to pass for use in colo facilities.

Actually, at the server level, IBM uses RISC chips (they're own). PowerPC and the newer Apples are based on RISC technology. (I don't know about SUN.)
Oh, and it just snowed 26.6 inches here...
