If it doesn't have a SINGLE SCENE with those freaking Gungans, it's automatically better than the last 2...

Re: Star Wars Episode 3..
I enjoyed episode 3, It done a great job filling in the gap between 2 and 4,
It is my favorite of the first three, and maybe my favorite of all 6

Re: Star Wars Episode 3..
I've never been an avid Star Wars fan, I've seen them, I enjoy them thats about it. But I'd say Ep 3 is my favorite of the bunch. I only grimaced at one scene of wooden dialogue so props to Mr. Lucas.

Re: Star Wars Episode 3..
I'm hearing a lot about how critics are saying that the guy who played anakin was a sorry actor and that it was a wooden performance and a wooden dialogue. If they think this, they need to learn a little more about star wars. Anakin was in a very confused state of mind during this episode and a jedi is trained to not be emoitional, thus the reason for his actions, poor acting is definately not the case here. Duh!

True, but Hayden Christensen is still not that great an actor.

Re: Star Wars Episode 3..
He did do a good job of filling in the gaps, however I think he crammed too much into the last 15 minutes...like he was just trying to get the movie overwith. a little bit of elaboration wouldn't have been bad.
it was definitely better than Episode 1&2. Could have been better than Empire Strikes Back or Return of the Jedi...I'll probably see it again so I can form a better opinion.

Re: Star Wars Episode 3..
i think im with the general consensus. i liked it a lot. a very good movie in my opinion. although i still think the originals are a little better, ep. 3 is a huge step past ep. 1 and 2. hats off to lucas at ending this series with style and a bang, and not a fizzle.

Re: Star Wars Episode 3..
I think that the third one is slightly better than episode two, which was vastly better than the first one. However, I think that the original trilogy, despite inferior SFX technology, has a certain history about it, that any sequels or prequels could never beat. Plus, on the anal-retentive SciFi nerd side, there were a TON of chronological inconsistancies.
Prime example: did the Death Star take 18 years to build!?

Always... I don't think it's possible to take the People's liberties without their consent... but nobody ever said anything about "informed consent"!
