is it ok to look at porn and/or masturbate if you have a girlfriend or wife. Now if you say that its ok, what if they say it's not ok. should they be wrong or does should you stop. i'll try to give more details to my specific situation later but for now i want to get a general opinion

I would say no in general, but if you don't have much left for you woman because you wack off to much then I would consider it a problem, at least it is a problem for your girl, which is your problem in a roundabout way.

Nope... not wrong. Ideally, it wouldn't be neccessary, but sometimes it is. Nothing wrong about it though; just look at it like practicing a sport: you are just getting better prepared for the big game.

i deff agree with Green on this one. you can masturbate all you want. its not saying you don't like/love her. just says "hell, im horny and my girl isn't around". but if my gf asked me to stop i doubt i would since i only get to see her on the weekends ( but thats all changing once school gets out :happycow but if she wanted me to stop looking at porn, yeah id go ahead and do that. porn really isn't that big a deal.

now that i think is totally wrong, I think it can be ok to wack it as long as you dont do it to much or it doesn't take away from your sexual preformance when your with her. But if the girl wants you to drop porn you should respect that.

Masterbation is what it is....regardless of what anyone tells you, everyone does it (some more than others granted), what you do in private is your own business...

Porn...well now that is a hot topic right now....

From what I have seen (on various other forums I belong to) women are either of two minds... they are either completely open to porn, and are of the opinion that ... if you are NOT addicted to it, and spending your life savings buying/watching it....then its fine.

or... they take the moral high road claiming the old 'degrading to women' theory...

I think where porn is concerned, the women don't look any more 'cheap' or 'sleezy' than the men do... hell...great sex can be had when the guy comes to bed all revved up from watching something racey.... my thought process when this happens is why waste a good thing!
