Favorite Songs
What are your favorite songs?
also
What are your favorite bands that not many may have heard of but still kick ass and what type of music is it?
I'll start
Cast Iron Filter (kind of irongrass, bluegrassish but a little more folky, kinda hard to explain but very cool)
Ellis Paul (folky, cool sound)
Sweet Child of Mine- Guns N Roses
Chris Knight (Good ole boy country, hasn't sold out to the 'pop' trend country is currently taking)
Thanks in advance if I find anything I like from anyone of y'all (that's right, y'all)

Re: Favorite Songs
Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven
Over the Hills and Far Away by Led Zeppelin
Yesterday by The Beatles
Can't Stop by The Red Hot Chili Peppers
Motorcycle Drive By by Third Eye Blind
Its hard coming up with just a few songs I like. That's in no particular order and just a random selection of what I'd listen to right now. Maybe throw in some Pink Floyd but not in that kind of mood now.
Ellis Paul is pretty good too. I like country too, but I get the feeling its not a popular genre among WR so I left out my selections from there.

Are you sure your not thinking of Buck-O-Nine? The chorus goes "Drink and drink and drink and drink and drink and drink and fight". Good song though.

Re: Favorite Songs
Good thread.
1. Stairway to Heaven - Led Zep
2. Trip Like I Do - Crystal Method
3. Hells Bells - AC/DC
4. Frontier Psychiatrist - The Avalanches
5. Earth People - Dr. Octogon
A very very partial list, as I am down with what a lot of others put down as well. Unlike many, I have burned a "corny pop shit" CD, as well as a "New Country" CD to augment the usual BPM and New Punk.
Also, I was bummed when I was all over Maroon 5 before everyone else (they are incredibly overplayed now, and the non-album version of "Sunday Morning" is way better, plus I called The Bravery about 4 months ago). They are awesome, and about to absolutely EXPLODE.
Also check The Epochs if you get a chance.
Trust me, I know.
