Re: Let's Talk College Football. . .
I've got 2 teams who could potentially crash the BCS party: Fresno State and North Texas.
Both teams have established mini-dynasties in their respective conferences, and if they get a chance to show off their skills in some decent non-conference games against some big boys, they might get a chance to pull a Utah on us.

I agree with Fresno State, but I think Bowling Green would be my second pick out of the MAC. They had a good run last year, just missing the final top 25 standings.

Re: Let's Talk College Football. . .
I'm glad you guys keep saying Fresno State. When we kick their ass in October, you're going to look like every other uneducated college football fan that has jumped on Fresno's bandwagon. Boise State pwns Fresno, and will always pwn Fresno. I can't believe you fuckers still think they're a decent football program when they haven't put up a game against Boise State since David Carr was there...and we still beat them in their own place.
When we beat Georgia followed by Bowling Green and Oregon State...the whole country will be concentrating on Boise State as they carry Utah's BCS busting flag all the way to Bowl Season. Mark my words...undefeated.

Re: Let's Talk College Football. . .
Hey man, there is no need to start being an ass about this, calling people uneducated football fans. We are only giving our opinion and nowhere did we bash Boise or even talk about them. Who did Boise St beat worth anything last year? Oregon St, and Fresno St. I think Fresno had more quality wins last season, as they beat Kansas St. and Virginia, although they did lose big to Boise at home. Boise St. had a chance last year to prove themselves with Louisville and came up just short. I am not bashing Boise St at all, because I think they have a good chance at busting up the BCS, but I believe Fresno has their number this year.

Re: Let's Talk College Football. . .
Yeah no kidding. No need for the insults. Look, Mr.Sniffs completely put me in my place about the Pac. But never once insulted me. Fact is, I really am just getting into following NCAA FB as much as the NFL. So my views are a little one sided. But I agree. Boise State looked great last year but they really didn't have the competition.
Anyway, GO HUSKIES.

Re: Let's Talk College Football. . .
I'm sorry...you guys are going to have to take my "you fuckers" phrase like Stiffler would say it in American Pie/II/Wedding/etc. I guess that's a little harder to read into on a message board. I was saying it as if I were amongst my friends who are my favorite fuckers in the world...my bad. Again I apologize.
However, the uneducated college football fan blast was pretty true. It all sounds like that blowhard Trev Alberts would say all season...how Boise State was a pretender, and how:
Oregon State would show them what big-time football really was...NOPE
BYU is going to get revenge...NOPE
Wait until they play Fresno State...NOPE
Timmy Chang is going to set his record against them...NOPE (unless you count the all-time interception record something to strive for, since BSU got 6 against him which pushed him over the top)
Louisville is going to slaughter them...BY 4?!? Come on. They played pretty respectably against the #6 team in the country in having a chance to win it on the final play of the game in (arguably) the best bowl game of the season.
Its that kind of attitude that they thrive on. They've gotten no respect for blowing through their conference 3 years running, so why should they now?

Re: Let's Talk College Football. . .
Hey man, it's cool...I apologize if I came across as a dick about it...
I still have to disagree with you on the unedcated fans comment. I personally do not think i am uneducated on the college game at all. I did concede that Boise was a talented football team, and in no way bash them. One thing I completely agree with you on is Trev Alberts . He is the biggest idiot ESPN ever thought about putting on the air to analyze anything.
Oh, and to elaborate on my statement about Boise coming up short against the Cards....It was one of the best bowl games last year, if not THE best, and I agree they gave the 'Ville all they could handle. It will be interesting to see what they do this season.
