Well, folks, this is it for BR's "happy home life" - Tiffany & I are splitting up, this week. Heh - I guess it wasn't as happy as I thought, after all.

This has been a couple years in the making, and while we both think we tried really hard to make it work, apparently that wasn't enough, and now it is over. There is nothing that can be done at this point to "fix" things.

Fortunately, our kids were our own from previous relationships, so there will be no custody battles, but they will miss each other a lot since they have functioned as brother & sister for close to half of their lives. I feel the worst for them.

I'm not fishing for sympathy, I just wanted you all to know about it & that this is why I have been a "less than attentive" mod for the last few months; once I put the pieces back together & get back on my feet, I will be able to get back in the swing of things, promise.

I'm sorry to hear that, I don't know if you were married or if she was your girlfriend but I have went through that myself it's very hard and from the kids perspective when I was 8 my parents got a divorce but that was 12 years ago

im very sorry to hear that you have to go through this, i know you said you wont be on here much, which is understandable, but remember, that if you need to talk we will all be here, sometimes it helps to just vent to people :jill:
