When will Reality TV die off? I caught an episode of Meet the Barkers last night, the latest MTV shit-com. I was vaguely interested because I am a fan of Blink 182. However, Travis Barker is the last of the three members that should have a reality show showcasing his life. I think Travis is an amazing and extremely talented drummer, but he really doesn't have much of a personality. Apart from the shocking tattoos and Miss USA/Playboy Playmate wife, he's really kind of boring.

If anyone has seen any of the Blink 182 DVD's, The Urethra Chronicles and UC V.2 Harder Faster Harder, it's pretty clear that Mark and Tom are the personalities in the band. Either of those guys would make a ten times better reality show than Travis. In interviews and shows like MTV Cribs, Mark Hoppus has a funny sense of humor and is fun to watch. Travis on the other hand is like a spaced out mute who occasionally makes comments like, "this is my super rad cadillac."

I hate the whole reality tv bullshit anyway. But in a nutshell: Fuck the Barkers!

I caught it as well. Pretty boring. Also i'm with you about the Travis being a bit bland thing. You notice it everywhere. Blinks video's are f'n funny as shit but he's always just the guy in the back. Mark and Tom steal the show every time.

Great drummer though.

when I saw the title, I hoped you were talking about Bob Barker!
